Zip · Check which Zip product applies
Ask how Zip could fit around your treatment estimate. Zip sets the approval and repayment conditions.

Thinking of using Zip? First ask us what treatment is proposed, what it costs and which payment route we can take, then decide at your own pace.
What To Check FirstWhat To Expect At Your VisitEach Zip product has its own terms. Work out which one applies, how repayments run and what using it costs in total.
Ask which Zip option we can use for your appointment.
Check the account limit, the fees, how interest works and any promotional conditions.
Compare the treatment fee, any account charges, possible interest and the repayment schedule with what you can afford.
Find out from reception which Zip route you can use, and ask for an estimate for the care planned.
Your dentist looks at your needs and explains the proposed care, the alternatives and the fees.
Follow Zip’s current process and hand over the identity and financial details it needs to assess you.
Read the terms of the approved product before you accept, and follow its payment schedule and minimum repayments.
Zip offers several products with different terms. Find out which one the practice can accept before you apply or plan your payment.
Compare current Zip productsZip decides approval and limits. Holding an account doesn’t replace checking that the cost and the payment method can be accepted.
Compare the full cost and the repayment commitment before deciding. Ask the practice which Zip product and payment process it can accept for your appointment, then read the terms for that product. A general Zip advertisement is not your individual agreement. Start with the itemised treatment estimate and any expected health fund benefit. Confirm the amount you would need to finance and compare the total repayable with paying directly. Ask about fees, interest, minimum repayments and what happens at the end of any promotional period. Also check how a changed treatment plan or refund would be handled by the practice and Zip. Approval and available limits are decided by Zip; they do not tell you whether the repayments fit your budget. If you are unsure, ask for the terms in writing and take time to consider them. The dental recommendation, the practice fee and the finance agreement are separate decisions that should each be clear before treatment.
Wondering about Zip? Our team explains your treatment, its fees and what to check before you book, and there’s no pressure to decide on the spot.
